Our little Hannah continues to grow more and more every day. Thinking about her this time last year, it's amazing what a big girl she is now.
Hannah at 16 months:
She loves to talk--yep, she came by it honestly. Sometimes I can figure out what she's telling me, but sometimes, I have no idea. She tells long stories that have hand gestures and everything. I know it won't be long before I understand all the words in her vocabulary.
She loves to talk on the
imaginary phone. This is the cutest thing. She will take a call at anytime. I never hear her "phone" ring, but she's quick to pick it up. She has lots of play phones, but prefers to talk on random household objects (nasal drops, label maker, magic wand...) Her conversation is pretty standard, "hello...un-huh...k...bye."
She loves to listen on the real phone. Whenever the phone rings, it's a race to get to it and she insists that I put it on speaker so she can hear the whole conversation. So if you have something to tell me that Hannah can't hear, call when she's asleep.
She loves when Poppa gets home. She gets so excited, she tries to run to the door. Since she hasn't quite mastered running, it usually involves a few face plants.
She loves to laugh--she came by this one honestly too. She can laugh so hard, it will seem like she's going to cry. It's super cute. I love to hear her laugh.
She is super sweet. She'll give kisses and hugs freely, if you catch her when she's not on a call or on her way to make a call. Or if you catch her when it's bedtime and she's trying to do anything to distract Mama from putting her in that bed.
She loves to dance. She'll walk around the house with our phones, listening to her station on Pandora (Choo Choo Soul). She dances and her face lights up when one of her favorite songs comes on.
She is just the greatest blessing. She's smart. She's happy. She's healthy. She's hilarious. We are so very blessed.
