52 Fridays: On the Shelf

I didn't complete my 52 Fridays challenge last year, but Regina has me all psyched up and we are ready to finish what we started! (Afterall, Hope did her part, so we have to hold up our end of the agreement.)

Hannah is an obedient child. She is a child, so sometimes she tests boundaries, but overall, she's a really good girl. We recently made a trip to Hobby Lobby and I let Hannah get down and walk. (If I'm being honest, it wasn't just for her benefit, she's getting heavy and I didn't have a basket, so I was tried of holding her...lol). Well you know how much fun Hobby Lobby is. There is so much to look at, touch, and potentially break. We were in relatively safe area, so I let her explore. She stood in the aisle taking it all in. She gently reached out and touch a few things. She would check in with me to make sure it was okay. If it wasn't I would say "no" and she would leave it alone. I was able to find what I needed and we were ready to go. I let her walk to the front of the store alone and she loved looking at all the items. It was a slow walk, as walking through Hobby Lobby can be, but I was happy that I didn't have to chase after her, nor did they chase us out of the store. When we got to the counter, she reached out for my car key and told the cashier "BYE" (yes, she yells).  I was content that we got what we came for and we left the store as we found it.
